چکیده

Classical Cepheids (DCEPs) are the most important standard candles in extra-galactic distance scale thanks to Period-Luminosity ($\rm PL$), Period-Luminosity-Color PLC$) and Period-Wesenheit PW$) relations that hold for these objects. The advent of {\it Gaia} mission, particular Early Data Release 3 (EDR3) provided accurate parallaxes calibrate relations. In order fully exploit measurements, zero point (ZP) should be determined with an accuracy a few $\rm \mu as$. individual ZP corrections by team depend on magnitude position sky target. this paper, we use implicit method relies Cepheid PL$ PW$ evaluate ensemble parallax point. best inferred estimation offset value needed additionally correct (after correction) present DCEP sample, amounts -22\pm 4\, This is agreement recent literature values confirms correction proposed over-corrected parallaxes.\\ As further application our results, derive estimate Large Magellanic Cloud \mu_0=18.49\pm 0.06\, mag$), very good currently accepted obtained through geometric methods.

The Cepheid Period - Luminosity Relation ( The Leavitt Law ) at Mid - Infrared Wavelengths : III . Cepheids in NGC 6822

We present the first application of mid-infrared Period-Luminosity relations to the determination of a Cepheid distance beyond the Magellanic Clouds. Using archival IRAC imaging data on NGC 6822 from Spitzer we were able to measure single-epoch magnitudes for sixteen long-period (10 to 100-day) Cepheids at 3.6μm, fourteen at 4.5μm, ten at 5.8μm and four at 8.0μm. The measured slopes and the obs...

Large Magellanic Cloud Near-infrared Synoptic Survey. I. Cepheid Variables and the Calibration of the Leavitt Law

We present observational details and first results of a near-infrared (JHKs) synoptic survey of the central region of the Large Magellanic Cloud using the CPAPIR camera at the CTIO 1.5-m telescope. We covered 18 sq. deg. to a depth of Ks∼16.5 mag and obtained an average of 16 epochs in each band at any given location. Our catalog contains more than 5×106 sources, including 1417 Cepheid variable...

On the Cepheid Metallicity Dichotomy

With the aid of stellar atmosphere models, we derive iron abundances [Fe/H] from the OGLE B, V , I photometry on the Magellanic Cloud Cepheids. We show that in both clouds the average metallicities of the first overtone variables are lower than those of the fundamental ones (by ∼ 0.2 and ∼ 0.3 dex in the LMC and SMC, respectively). Consequently, there is a correlation between the overall [Fe/H]...

Cepheid metallicity and Hubble constant

This study combines data from a set of seven Cepheid-calibrated galaxies in Virgo, Leo I and Fornax and four supernovæ with known metallicities, including metallicity corrections to the Cepheid distances, in order to determine a consistent mean value for the Hubble constant. We derive Virgo and Coma distances over different paths, starting from the metallicity corrected Cepheid distances of Vir...
